Dear Staff,
We hope you had a fun weekend in this glorious spring weather! For those of you who enjoyed the Casino, we hope you also went home with some extra money in your pocket! :) Thanks again to Kelly Snyder for organizing this event and to Randy Boyce who arranged for the food to be free!
Thanks to those staff members who completed the short google doc survey on transition. We appreciate your input.
We started out last week with a visit from educators from Hong Kong, facilitated by Battelle for Kids. It is always wonderful to have visitors from some of the top school systems in the world who want to view our best practices at Jerome, and as usual, they were very impressed by all of you!
It is interesting to talk to them about utilizing the same research that we are, including PLC work with teachers working in collaborative teams on collaborative assessments as well as the Marzano research on the impact of teacher effectiveness. We are globally in this work together.
